Here is my latest illustration I have been working on for the past few weeks. This was originally a drawing I created to commemorate my first convention table, which was at the Mid Ohio Comic Con last year; I sold limited edition B&W prints of the drawing there. Since then the drawing has been sitting in my stack of drawings-to-be-painted for a some time just asking to be completed. I am pretty happy with the way this turned out and am definitely homing in on a solid painting process with each new piece I make, which personally is really encouraging. However, I am still working to find the right balance between the comic stylization I like and the more realistic fully painted/rendered look many table-top gaming companies prefer. I have not quite gotten there yet.
