My last two posts, while setting the ground work for the coming year, were extremely text heavy posts. So for this post I am happy to unveil two new cover paintings that I completed at the end of last year.
These two illustrations were commissioned by the author Kelly R. Martin of Myth/Logic Press to serve as the new cover illustrations for the second editions of his two novels 'The Lucky Cricket' and 'Thomas the Poisoner' which are due out later this year. I had the pleasure of meeting Kelly while exhibiting at GenCon and it has been a fantastic experience working with him. If I saved my progress files correctly I am hoping to attempt to create a tutorial / process style post using one of these paintings next month. So, keep an eye out for that. Hope you all have a great day and I look forward to being back with you next week with more art.
